Statement of Educational Effectiveness
Great Lakes Christian College provides an excellent, rigorous education to undergraduate students. We use an open enrollment approach to higher education with the goal of making college accessible to all students.
Our freshmen to sophomore retention rate has averaged 55% for the last five years. Our graduation rate for first-time, full-time students has averaged nearly 30% for the last three cohorts to graduate within 150% of the expected course of study.
Our students averaged a GPA of 2.76 on a 4 point scale at the last reporting cycle. Our graduates consistently rate the college extremely high in satisfaction measurements with 100% of graduates scoring satisfied or very satisfied in overall satisfaction, 100% satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of education, and 95% satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of classroom instruction.
