Although Great Lakes Christian College exists primarily to prepare servant-leaders for the church, it also seeks to provide Christian leadership to the world.
For those who decide to serve Christ in non-church related careers, GLCC will:
- Provide an educational foundation from a distinctly Christian perspective;
- Provide an enhanced understanding of the Bible; and
- Prepare students for professional vocations.

Advance Center for Ministry Training

The articulation agreements state that coursework considered for transfer must represent collegiate work relevant to the degree with course content and level of instruction resulting in student competencies at least equivalent to those of students enrolled in GLCC’s own degree programs. These courses will be based on an established Transfer Evaluation form. The Registrar will determine which courses equate to required courses at GLCC and are eligible for transfer credit. Transfer students must complete at least 30 hours at Great Lakes Christian College to earn a bachelor’s degree and 15 hours to earn an associate degree.
University of Phoenix

This articulation agreement stipulates that GLCC students can transfer into the program at the University of Phoenix if they meet the following:
Degree applicable associate degree courses are indicative of transferrable, freshmen level and above courses, and not indicative of remedial, developmental, professional, or other non-transferrable course types.
Courses must have received a C- or higher to transfer for General Education and Elective requirements and at least a C or higher to transfer towards required course of study requirements at the University.
Spring Arbor University Cooperative Program
Great Lakes Christian College and Spring Arbor University are working in cooperation to facilitate students desiring to enter academic programs and majors in which GLCC doesn’t have a terminal degree. With guidance from the cooperative arrangement coordinator, students take the appropriate GLCC courses and will then transfer them into Spring Arbor’s program in most cases after attaining 58 credits at GLCC.
