Advanced Biblical Studies
Equipped to Seek, Learn, and Lead
In Deuteronomy 4:29, God calls the Israelites to seek Him earnestly and wholeheartedly, a mandate that continues to resonate with followers of Christ today. We too are invited—and commanded—to pursue God with unwavering devotion, shaping every facet of our lives around His truth and His presence.
The Advanced Biblical Studies Major exists to embody that very calling. Rooted in the conviction that God has revealed Himself through Scripture, this program challenges students to intentionally seek the Lord and engage deeply with the inexhaustible wisdom found in His Word. Through rigorous study, thoughtful reflection, and guided spiritual formation, students are equipped to grow not only in knowledge, but also in faithful obedience to God’s revealed will.
Designed for those who desire a strong foundation in biblical theology, this major prepares students for a variety of ministry and academic paths. Whether pursuing work in Bible teaching, biblical languages and translation, local church leadership, or planning to continue into seminary-level education, students will gain the interpretive skills, theological depth, and spiritual maturity necessary for lifelong service in Christ’s kingdom.
