Enroll in College while in High School

Dual Enrollment is a program that allows public, private, or homeschooled high school students to enroll in courses at Great Lakes Christian College for credit prior to high school graduation. College credits earned through dual credit may be applied toward high school and college graduation and may be transferred to many colleges and universities.

Dual Enrollment offers students meaningful academic advantages while they’re still in high school. Key benefits include:

  • Significant cost savings, with courses offered at only $150 per credit hour—a low-risk way to get ahead academically.

Requirements

Students are permitted to enroll at GLCC prior to completion of their high school course of study. The following stipulations apply to these students:

  • Dual-enrolled students must be in their last two years of high school studies.
  • The student may only enroll in 100 and 200 level courses.
  • Dual-enrolled students who want to take classes outside of these common classes must get permission from the Academic Dean and pay the regular college tuition rate for that course.
  • Dual-enrolled students must complete the dual enrollment application prior to registering for classes.
