At Great Lakes Christian College (GLCC), we believe finances should never stand in the way of your calling or your education. That’s why we offer a range of financial aid options designed to make your academic journey accessible and affordable. Whether you’re exploring scholarships, applying for federal financial aid, or considering student loan options, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

From need-based support to merit-based opportunities, we’ll help you understand what you qualify for and how to build a plan that fits your budget. Together, we’ll create a clear path forward—so you can focus on growing, learning, and becoming who you’re called to be.

Over 90% of students who fill out the FAFSA qualify for financial aid.

  2. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and list Great Lakes Christian College with School Code: 002269.
  3. Submit the Funded Scholarship Application for 2026–2027 academic year.

Scholarships & Grants

We are committed to making a Christ-centered education accessible for every student. In addition to our own academic and merit-based scholarships, students may also qualify for several state and federal grants that help lower the cost of attendance. Explore the opportunities available to you—from the Michigan Tuition Grant to federal options like the Pell Grant and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)—and discover the financial support that best fits your needs.

Student Loans

We understand that many students rely on loans to help make their education possible. Through the Federal Direct Student Loan Program, eligible students can access low-interest loans—with both subsidized and unsubsidized options—based on financial need and class level. Parents may also apply for PLUS Loans to support their student’s educational costs. All federal loan programs begin by completing the FAFSA, and additional steps—such as submitting GLCC’s Loan Permission to Borrow form—help ensure you receive the funding you’re eligible for. Explore the loan options below to find the right fit for your financial plan.

Special & Unusual Circumstances

Occasionally, students have special and/or unusual circumstances which may warrant reconsideration of a financial aid eligibility. This may include loss of employment, divorce or separation, unusually high medical expenses, or a number of other circumstances. You may apply for an adjustment to your financial aid based upon special or unusual circumstances.

Student Employees

Students may apply for a number of on campus jobs to help pay for their tuition and fees. For more information on the kinds of jobs available and an application form, click the button below.
