Clubs, Activities & Leadership

Great Lakes Christian College offers a close-knit, active campus community where students can lead, serve, explore hobbies, and build meaningful connections. Whether you’re joining a club, attending campus events, or stepping into a leadership role, you’ll find countless opportunities to get involved and grow. Our activities are designed to help you discover your passions, develop new skills, and form friendships that last long after graduation which makes campus life an engaging and memorable part of your experience.

Student Leadership Opportunities

Students can serve in multiple on-campus leadership and employment roles, including:

  • Resident Assistants
  • Campus Life Crew
  • Legacy Café Staff
  • Teacher’s Assistants
  • Student Development workers

Students can speak with the Dean of Students or their Resident Director to learn more.

Clubs & Student Organizations

Students are encouraged to create and join clubs that focus on shared interests, hobbies, or activities. To start a club, students simply submit an application to the Dean of Students for approval. New clubs are then listed for others to join through Populi.

Campus Events & Activities

Campus regularly offers opportunities for fellowship, recreation, and community engagement. These include:

  • Worship gatherings
  • Prayer and discussion groups
  • Intramural activities
  • Residence hall events
  • Special themed events during Men’s & Women’s Health Months
  • All-Hall Meetings and community-building activities

These events help students build friendships, strengthen their faith, and enjoy life on campus.

Student Job Opportunities

A number of on campus jobs are available to students. Campus jobs may include bookstore, cafeteria, janitorial, library, and maintenance. There are also many restaurants and businesses nearby that hire college students.
